Pest control pricing and plans
Plans are $39 a month quarterly, $49 a month bi-monthly, or $79 a month monthly plus a $150 initial cost, and rodent exclusion is quoted after an inspection starting at $500.
How much does pest control cost?
Pest control is $39 a month on the quarterly plan, $49 a month bi-monthly, or $79 a month monthly, all on a 12-month agreement, plus a $150 initial cost. Rodent exclusion is quoted separately, starting at $500, because the price depends on how much of the house is open. We give you the number before any work starts.
What do the plans cover?
Ants, cockroaches, spiders, rodents, mosquitoes, wasps, fleas and ticks. It does not cover termites, birds, wildlife or fumigation, because we do not do that work.
Do I have to sign up for a year?
The plans run on a 12-month agreement. Rodent exclusion is quoted separately as one-off work.
How much does rodent exclusion cost?
It is quoted after an inspection, starting at $500. The price depends on how much of the house is open, so nobody can give you a real number over the phone.
How is commercial pest control priced?
It depends on the site. Call the office and we will go through it rather than quoting blind.

Do you treat inside as well as outside?
Every visit covers the outside. Inside work happens where there is an active problem.
Do I need to leave my home during the treatment process?
For most exterior and general interior work you do not need to leave. If a particular treatment needs a room clear for a short while, the technician will say so before starting and tell you how long to wait before going back in.
Are your pest control treatments safe for children and pets?
We use products chosen to be low risk around children and pets, and the technician will tell you what to keep clear of while a treatment dries. Let us know about pets, fish tanks or anyone in the house with sensitivities when you book, and we will adjust where and how we treat.
Is it safe around food areas?
We use products chosen to be used around families and pets, and the technician will tell you what was applied and where.

Rodents, inspections and exclusion
An inspection tells you where rats and mice are getting in, and exclusion seals those entry points, quoted from $500.
What happens during a rodent inspection?
A technician checks the attic, crawlspace, roofline, vents and garage for droppings, chew marks and open entry points, then goes through what they found with you.
Do I have to book work after an inspection?
No. The inspection tells you what is going on. What you do about it is your call.
What if you find nothing?
Then you know, and we tell you that rather than selling you something.
How is an inspection different from exclusion?
The inspection finds the entry points. Exclusion is the work of sealing them.
Why not just set traps?
Trapping removes the rodents that are already inside. It does nothing about the opening they used, so the next one walks in through the same gap.
How long does exclusion last?
Sealed entry points stay sealed. New ones can open as a building settles, which is one reason the bi-monthly plan includes checking the perimeter.
Do you do rodent work in attics and crawlspaces?
Yes. Those are the two places most Sacramento-area rodent problems actually live.
Do you clean up after?
Talk to the technician about what they find. Cleanup is handled case by case depending on the space.

Ants, cockroaches and spiders
Ants, cockroaches and spiders are all covered on every plan, from $39 a month quarterly to $79 a month monthly, plus a $150 initial cost.
Why do ants keep coming back after I spray?
Because the spray kills the trail, not the colony. The colony is usually outside and keeps producing.
When are ants worst in Sacramento?
Spring, once irrigation comes back on, and again through summer.
Why do I only see roaches at night?
They are nocturnal. Seeing them in daylight usually means the harbourage is crowded.
Do you treat German cockroaches?
Talk to the office about what you are seeing so the technician arrives with the right approach.
Will one cockroach treatment fix it?
Roaches usually need follow-up, and the bi-monthly plan includes free callbacks between visits.
How do you get rid of spiders?
Clear the existing webs, treat the eaves and entryways they settle in, and reduce the insects they are feeding on.
Do you treat black widows?
Talk to the office about what you have seen and where, so the technician arrives prepared.
Why do spiders keep coming back?
Because the eaves and garage stay attractive. Clearing without treating buys a few weeks.
Do you cover garages and sheds?
Yes, and they are usually where the worst of it is.

Mosquitoes, wasps, fleas and ticks
Mosquitoes, wasps, fleas and ticks are covered on every plan, and treatment targets where they rest, nest and breed rather than only where you see them.
When is mosquito season in Sacramento?
Late spring through summer, and longer in areas near standing water such as Natomas.
Why do I still get bitten after spraying?
Usually because a breeding site was missed. Adults are replaced from the water.
Do you treat the whole yard?
We treat the foliage and shaded harbourage where mosquitoes actually rest.
Can I knock a wasp nest down myself?
It is a bad idea. Disturbing an untreated nest is how people get stung repeatedly, and the nest usually comes back in the same place.
What if the wasp nest is inside a wall or vent?
That is common. The technician will locate it and treat it where it is.
When are wasps worst?
Through the hot months, and they build in the same sheltered spots year after year.
Do you handle bees?
Call the office and describe what you are seeing. Bees and wasps are not the same problem.
Do I need to treat the yard as well as the house for fleas?
Usually yes. Treating one and not the other is the most common reason fleas return.
Will one flea treatment clear it?
Often not, because of the life cycle. A follow-up pass is normal.
What should I do before a flea or tick visit?
Vacuum thoroughly and wash pet bedding. The technician will tell you anything else.
Do you treat ticks too?
Yes, and they concentrate in cover along fence lines and planting.
