How rodent exclusion works
Rodents do not chew their way in from nothing. They use what is already open: a gap where a pipe enters the wall, a crawlspace vent that has rusted through, a roofline junction that never closed properly, a garage door seal that has flattened. A mouse needs about a quarter of an inch. A rat needs about half.
Exclusion is quoted after an inspection, not before, because the price depends entirely on how much of the house is open. A few sealed entry points is a small job. A whole house with an open crawlspace and a compromised roofline is not. Quotes start at $500 and we give you the number before anything starts.
Do I need this?
Scratching in the ceiling or walls at night, droppings along a wall or in the back of a cupboard, or a smell that will not go away. If you are hearing it above you rather than around you, that is usually roof rats and usually the roofline.

Why not just set traps?
